Lavender Ridge

Within a cellar, a single bottle of Lavender Ridge is a treasure, especially to the owner. Known only to a few, Lavender Ridge wines are a coveted possession, and bottles are generally pre sold. They will never be available in retail outlets.

Lavender Ridge bottles are usually the reserve of quick Lavender Ridge Members, and the object of envy of those whom are left with only the hope of being party to the uncorking of a LR bottle and hopefully some better luck next Vintage, whenever that may be.

The Vineyard was established originally in 1996 and now has eighteen acres of grapes which house a diversity of varietals including Semillon, Verdelho, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Sangovaise and Temranello.

Only the most precise attention to detail is paid to producing wine at Lavender Ridge. It is our passion for quality at Lavender Ridge that is the reason why the bottles will never be available to retail outlets, and our winemaking will be strictly limited to 160 cases per year of each varietal.

The freedom of Lavender Ridge's unique adoption of this strict approach to winemaking means that even the slightest disappointment in quality will see a whole vintage not being harvested, ensuring that every drop from our bottle is always and only the best.
