Two Doors

You are most welcome to come and stay at Lavender Ridge Estate. Lavender Ridge is the ideal getaway. Close to key Hunter attractions and just a stones throw away from the most exclusive restaurants and vineyards the Valley has to offer; Lavender Ridge is the perfect base for a Hunter Valley experience. But not only is the Vineyard close to all the Hunter action, but it provides a beautiful setting for relaxation in itself.

Our beautiful Two Doors Cottage is fully equipped with all the luxuries to make you feel at home at the Vineyard. And just outside your door, breathtaking grounds await your exploration, and from your balcony, a lake view and vineyard vista.

Two Doors is a 2 bedroom beautifully furnished cottage which was the original cellar door at Lavender Ridge and has recently been converted. Two Doors has reverse cycle air-conditioning and accommodation consists of 2 lovely queen bedrooms and a large lounge and bathroom. The property is fully self contained with fridge, microwave and cooking facilities. Enjoy a BBQ on the verandah looking over the vineyards or relax in the gardens with your favourite glass of wine.

Two Doors is set in the grounds on the magnificent Lavender Ridge Vineyard winery set on one hundred acres of land nestled between Wollombi creek and the majestic Brokeback Mountain range. Set amidst 100 acres of evergreen countryside in the tranquil Broke Fordwich, Two Doors at Lavender Ridge Vineyard is the perfect destination for a Hunter Valley getaway. Lavender Ridge is located in the picturesque village of Broke surrounded by and only minutes away from fantastic cellar Doors and great restaurants and within a 10 minute drive to all the Hunter Valley has to offer.

Two Doors can also be used as a beautiful sanctuary after quiet walks through the vines or adjacent foothills, wanderings through the olive grove, fruit orchard and fragrant rose gardens, or even explorations of the veggie patch

Tailored activity packages can be organised for those interested in the any of the wide range of the special interest activities that the Hunter has to offer. The Lavender Ridge team can and have been known to organise just about any of our guests unique wishes.

Upon arrival you kitchen will be stocked with a combination of fresh Hunter local produce, as well as the basic such as milk, bread, butter etc.

Rates

2011 (Prices subject to public holidays and specific tariff dates)
One Night (mid week) (Mon-Thurs) $120 (per person per night with a minimum one night tariff of $400) (infants under 2 are free)
One Night (weekends) (Fri/Sat/Sun) $150 (per person per night with a minimum one night tariff of $550) (infants under 2 are free)
Weekend (2 nights) (Fri-Sun) (minimum 2 nights - a third night is available at $85 per person per night - minimum 2 people staying on and excl. public holidays) $275 p/n (for two people - extra guests are charged at $85 per person per night)
Midweek (2 nights) (Mon-Thurs) (minimum 2 nights) $200 p/n (for two people - extra guests are charged at $85 per person per night)

Minimum 2 people, 2 nights (otherwise see special one night rates)

All prices are 'plus GST'.

Other Charges

  • A deposit of 50% of the total rate is required by credit card to secure the booking. A $300 holding deposit can hold the property for 14 days if you need to collect payment from other guests
  • The outstanding balance is due 14 days before your arrival date
  • A $300 security deposit pre authorisation is taken on a Visa or MasterCard 2 days before your arrival and is fully refundable is the house and their contents do not suffer damage or loss or required excess cleaning
  • Weekend Public Holiday bookings must be for a minimum of 2 or more guests and are a minimum 3 night stay at weekend rate
  • Easter, Christmas and new Year are a 3-4 night stay and charged at full weekend rate
